Opera in Gozo Gozo has two main theatres the Astra and the Aurora. Both produce an opera each year and bring over foreign singers to sing with local artists. |
| Feasts June and July is the Feast Season when a commemoration to the saint is celebrated every year. The five day festivities include the triduum, the eve of the feast, and the feast day itself. Apart from the church services, the celebrations are highlighted by outdoor activities, mainly in the form of band marches and spectacular firework displays. |
| History and Myth There are two prehistoric structures known as Ggantija. They are the most impressive and well preserved of all the temples in the Maltese Islands. They are believed to be the oldest free-standing monuments in the world.
